Cortex-Pro is a specialised environment for the development and
simulation of neural networks. With its powerful interpreted neural
network language, Cortex-Pro can handle virtually any type of network,
from the most common to the most unusual.

Traditional neural network simulators allow you to use standard
algorithms very quickly. However, if you wished to use a slightly
different algorithm, you would have to code it yourself. Cortex-Pro is
designed to bridge this gap, and take much of the work out of writing
neural network programs. Users say they can now do in a week what used
to take six months. A whole new order of neural network simulations
becomes possible.

Cortex has already been used by researchers for industrial and
academic problems, including robot arm control, hand writing
classification, engine monitoring, retinal modelling, time series
prediction and many more. Users range from neurobiologists to
engineers and mathematicians.

You can download a demo (for DOS, 386, 4MB RAM) from World Wide Web
NEuroNet home page, http://www.neuronet.ph.kcl.ac.uk/ or Email your
postal address to unistat@unistat.demon.co.uk for a full information
pack including a demo disk.
