I had a paper in the GA Workshop of ECAI in Amsterdam last summer:

"The Degree of Oneness"

It was on diploidy in string GAs, both for binary strings and high-level 
representations - it was mainly concerned with the most difficult aspect of
diploidy, the dominance operator. I don't think the proceedings are out yet,
but if you'd like a copy drop me a line.
