I go to other end of the problem and propose (taking -person as a given 
option) "-peroffspring", on the grounds that -per*son* is just as 
"sexist" and "noninclusive" as "-*man*", and the first alternative, 
"-perchild" is (at least to many people) offensively "ageist".
