I sometimes confuse and confound some cashiers when I give them a $10
and a $1 for a bill of $5.75 because I wanted to avoid having 5 singles
when I leave. I sometimes have to say that they can give me back a
$5 note as part of the change. They key it in, and sure enough, the
machine says $5.25 and get a 5 and a quarter for change.

Well, what do you want for minimum wage anyway?
