I wish!  There are several good dictionaries out there, all broken
down by country (an exceptionally good work on Irish placenames has just
been published, for instance), but I still haven't found a good general 
reference despite quite a bit of searching.  I tend
to rely on Taylor's book a lot, but it's hopelessly outdated and incomplete
(and probably out-of-print as well).  Still, it's better than what Pei et al. 
have produced.
