I saw Japanese hand held VCRs with "steady" button which eliminates 
unwanted base motion. I would appreciate it if someone would provide 
me some references on the design. I am particularly interested in 
the rejection criteria; how it discriminates unwanted base motion 
from panning. I would also appreciate any background information on 
it.
