What's the current thinking regarding the stability of fuzzy based control systems? Based on
a recent post inquiring as to the use of FL in hospital environments, I'm curious if we'll
see FL used in such applications. An article in the Sep 27, 1993 issue of EE Times made
the statement that "Indeed, one of the Big Three automakers is said to have nixed fuzzy
systems altogether for fear that customers could win injury judgements simply by arguing
that fuzzy systems cannot be proved stable." Did I miss is FAIRLY BIG debate?
