Visual Works runs portably on Windows using Win32.  We are using it on
Intel-based Windows NT; I haven't tried it on DOS/Windows but believe
it should run fine out of the box.  I'm told code is completely
portable to and from the Unix versions.  This portability is one of
the biggest selling points for VW versus some competing Smalltalk
environments that are more bound to each OS or processor they run on.
