Easel Corporation recently announced upgrades to ENFIN Smalltalk (version
4.1) and Synchronicity (version 2.1).

This is the third release for ENFIN Smalltalk in the past year. Major
enhancements have been made to the screen designer including; the
addition of new widgets, the incorporation of an event based metaphor for
capturing user input, the ability to create reusable interface components,
and support for user-interface inheritance. With this release ENFIN has
also expanded its industry leading connectivity support by adding Named
Pipes support for OS/2 and providing TCP/IP support for Windows, OS/2,
and UNIX.

Synchronicity is a tool set integrated with ENFIN Smalltalk which provides
Business Object Modeling and Persistent Object Mapping. The Persistent
Object Mapping Tool is the only Smalltalk offering on the market which provides
the necessary mapping support and runtime framework to make a relational
database appear to the application developer as an OODBMS. Version 2.1
adds support for caching and other performance improvements. The Business
Object Modeling Tool supports the leading notations for object modeling
and is bi-directionally integrated with ENFIN.
