I have a Digitalk ST/V version 1.0 and I want to acquire some skills with
Smalltalk programming. I have both a MSDOS and MSWindows version 1.0.

Is it worth trying to learn with this or do the bugs outweigh the benefits?
Have things changed so much since this was released?

The cost of upgrading _seems_ too high at this stage but was wondering if
someone with a bit of experience would care to venture a comment please.

Regards
