This is a common failure mechanism. Each monitor only contains a fixed amount
of each colour inside it; when you have used up a colour you have two options:
	- buy a new monitor
	- take the monitor to a service show where they will refil the
exhausted colour. (Tip: it's only a little more expensive if you
have all the colours replenished at the same time.)

I suggest that when you use your next monitor you should use a colourscheme
based on nice muted pastel colours, since this will extend the life of your
monitor.
