The position involves integrating near real-time, experimental components in order to create a robust environment for prototyping speech and interactive voice response systems. The applicant must have experience in rapidly developing software for heterogeneous computing environments which must include UNIX. The applicant must also have a proven track record of writing software ranging from sockets to interactive, end-user applications. Experience with C, C++, and Lisp programming is essential, as isexperience with speech I/O, natural language processing; telephony, and TCL is desirable.
