I am writing to find out about AD/DA and DAT interface hardware for
use with the ESPS/Waves software.

We are presently looking at moving to the ESPS environment to do
speech analysis and synthesis. We have a Sun SPARCstation IPC with
8Mb RAM, but as far as I know only 8-bit, 10 KHz sound I/O. What we
would be looking for is 16-bit input/output, with up to 48 KHz
sampling, preferably with direct-to-disk ability. Additionally,
since most of our recording is done to DAT, we would like direct
digital transfer of audio recordings between DAT and hard disk.

Can anyone suggest suitable boards to acomplish this?

Additionally, has anyone got details of the Swiss or European
distributer of these boards, as well as Entropic's agent in Europe?

Thank you in advance for any information you can provide,

Regards,
Tom Johnstone
