A number of other people who have lost use of their hands have
successfully continued to be productive using DragonDictate speech
recognition technology. DragonDictate is designed (amoung other things)
to allow you to use your computer completely hands-free. I have seen
customers configure their system so they can not only use their computer
by phone, but also dial and use their phone and printer as well.

I suggest that you give Dragon Systems a call and ask for the name of a
reseller in your area who specializes in technology for the disabled.
Those people will be able to get your father set up to be productive
again. You will not have to buy much hardware beyond what you already have.

Dragon Systems can be reached at 1-800-TALK-TYP or 1-617-965-5200.
