There is a group at the University of Cambridge doing work in this area.
One project is for a factory or office based robot system for a disabled
worker. The group is headed by Robin Jackson. I am not sure if the group
has any papers on the ftp archive there (ftp svr-ftp.eng.cam.ac.uk) but
you will certainly find other relevant papers from the vision group
e.g. cipolla_mva94.ps.Z cipolla@eng.cam.ac.uk
