Greetings:
In doing my usuall rounds to Silicon Valleys best junk stores,
Ive run across some interesting Gyro modules which nobody in
the store knew anything about. All they said, was these units
are used in inertial navigation units and no, they had no specs
on them. These pods are brand new and are being peddled for an
outrageous $2.00. Let me describe one in hope sombody will
recognize the beast and know something about it.

Althougth the claim they were inertial, a closer examination of
the pods insides would indicate that its a mechanical Gyro.

Manufacturer: Bosch
Part Number: 8-638-710-419
Serial Number: 800268

Physical Dimensions: About 2x2 inches square gold anodized aluminum
housing with a one inch cylindrical protrusion from one end
(The Gyro I think).

Connectors: 8 Pin phone jack type connector.

Misc: Sticker on the side has the following
	138	Pitch-.280
		Roll -.230

If anyone has any information on this or related devices, please
E-Mail me at Calvin@netcom.com. Ill happliy ship of a couple of
these devices to anybody that can provide a spec. sheet for it.
Cheers.
John Calvin.
