Hi,

My colleagues and I would like clarification regarding Motorola
documentation.

I refer you to some queries made on the news groups.

The 68HC11P2 has ONE SCI interfaces (Master selection guide Rev 6 PP
2.5-18)
The 68HC711P2 has THREE SCI interfaces (Master selection guide Rev 6 PP
2.5-17)

You need to call Motorola to see if the book is wrong.

        CORRECTION !!!!!

The 68HC711P2 has ONE SCI interfaces (Master selection guide Rev 6 PP
2.5-18)
The 68HC11P2 has THREE SCI interfaces (Master selection guide Rev 6 PP
2.5-17)

You REALLY need to call Motorola to see if the book is wrong.

I believe the Master Selection Guide is wrong. Both the 68HC11P2 and
the 68HC711P2 have 3 SCI interfaces. Check out the 11P2 Technical Data
manual for details (MC68HC11P2/D).
