OEM refers to a manufacturer. The context is usually for the vendors. Vendors
have special OEM pricing. This means that they sell cheaper to manufacturers
than to end users. There is a presumption that an OEM will buy more and other
product than an end user. There are also tax breaks. OEMs do not pay sales
taxes on goods that are going into products for resale.
