America is filled with locally idiosyncratic pronunciations of words
derived from other languages. And -- you may find this hard to believe,
I know -- the French and Spanish and italians and Germans do the same
thing with English names and words.

The only mystery is why y'all think it's an appropriate subject for
alt.folklore.urban.

Now, why don't y'all just go up there in the header on your next post
and remove alt.folklore.urban from the newsgroups list, eh?
