  So it seems.  But seeming is not reality.  Consider the invented
language Bahasa Indonesia, which has become the national language of 
Indonesia.
  However, the "one-language-for-Europe" idea is not about one language 
to replace all the others, but one common =second= language for all.  Of 
course, we Esperantists believe we have a really good idea what that 
language ought to be.
