Yeah, OK.  I was wrong.  I'm still surprised that if it's all as vibrant
as you say I've managed to pass 30 years of my life with Esperanto
relegated to ``vaguely Spanish-like language invented in the Thirties
that I once read a book about'', but the net's about learning.  I still
say your dichotomy misses one obvious option: that I knew Esperanto's
status, but knew it wrongly.

I'll look out for the authors in translation.
