Can anyone suggest a gentle introduction to HPSG? I've found Pollard
and Sag(sp?) a little rough-sledding and am hoping to find an article
or two that will allow me to work my way up to that level.

I'd be most interested in fairly short tutorial type works that get
the main ideas across and gloss over lots of details. I get lost in
details right now...

Thanks for any suggestions

Ted
