You are making not distinction between the truth and the true. The ancient
Stoics were very careful on this matter:

  The truth must not be confused with the true. The truth is that the true 
  can follow equally from the true or from the false. The false can follow 
  from the false. It is only the false following from the true which is 
  pernicious. In order to embrace the truth, both the true and the false 
  must be included. Only the pernicious must and can be excluded from truth

The Stoics didn't seperate logic from "the real world." Propositions
were objects like any other. In modern computer parlance, all objects
in their system were "first class" entities. The true propostion depends 
on the context of another object. The truth depends on itslef. One is
transitive, the other intransitive.
