Start with an anthology called _Mind Design_, edited by Haugeland.  It contains
everything you've asked for, except, perhaps a discussion of Goedel's
work (although it's been a couple years since I last looked through _MD_, and
it may well cover that also).

If you have trouble finding it, drop me an email, and I'll give you the
name of the publisher, etc., and (if I'm not in the deathgrip of some sort of
academic deadline) a more extensive biliography.
