Hello people,

I'v been looking in this newsgroup for some time and I want to make an AI
game. I've got all these ideas in my head (and on paper). It will be a game
with many options. I'm thinking about a game with a bunch of artificial
people, who can learn things. e.g. we got this man and he signs up for the
army, he's gonna be a soldier. And we got this other man, he's dumb so he's
gonna be a worker. We also have a lady who cares about people, she's gonna
be a doctor. And so on ...

There will be a lot off possibilities in my game. I think of war with other
civilizations (civ.) or working together with other civ. There will be no
particular goal except survival.

PROBLEM: Where do I start?
         Where can I find information?
Are there people who are interested?
Are there libraries, that I can use?
         Has anybody more ideas?

I know the basics of AI in strategy games.
I also know little about neural networks.
I work with C++, so that shouldn't be a problem.
(Pascal and Assembly ain't a problem too)
I know very much about graphics, sound isn't a problem.

I want to program it in Object Oriented C.

I hope to get some response!

Greetings from

Ben Minderhoud.
