As part of my assignment for my AI class this quarter, I had to write
a Quintus Prolog program that would learn chess. The chess game we
had to learn is two knights vs. two knights on a 5x5 board.

If anyone is interested in seeing my program, send me email and I
will send it to you. I would be interested in working with another
grad student on a similar program that plays five pawns vs. five
pawns on the 5x5 board. I do have a program for this, but it loses
very easily. My knights program, on the other hand, learns how not to
lose very quickly. I have beaten it only seven times before it learns
enough not to lose anymore.
