Hello -

I was wondering if anyone had the scoop on the baggage
handling problems at the Denver International Airport.
BAE Automated Systems Inc. of Dallas was hired to do it.
My questions are :

Was an expert control system used?
Was that expert system fuzzy?
If yes, then what went wrong?
If no, then could fuzzy help to solve the problem?

From what little I have read ( Aug 1994 IEEE Spectrum, Sep
1994 Scientific American), I have the hunch that fuzzy logic
could have lended alternate solutions to the problem.

What do you think?
