Subject: The New "Cognitive Physics"p3of5
Lines: 68

The Rockford Analogy (part 3)
(The following is a more conventional explanation of the same cognitive
phenomenon, RPX. I would suggest taking a few deep breaths before attempting
to read it. If you understand any part or portion, you should probably
consider a career in cog physics.)

The Three Dimensions of Expansion in Cognitive Space:
Implosion, Explosion, and Parallel
(including the Random Perspective [Explosion] Expansion)

An SSC may be viewed as an "inductive learning machine"; however there are
three new refinements.

1. Each new isolable fluctuation in the target environment triggers a Flux
Cycle Event. In default, an SSC tries to view every cycle event as a problem
or opportunity followed by an "attached" solution or acquisition plan
(reactionary order) respectively. An SSC will assign a value polarized
"charge" to the reactionary order of all event records as they occur. When
an SSC shapes its environment, it will assume the very next fluctuation in
said environment to be caused by the just implemented shaping action, and
will evaluate this "echo flux" as an increase, decrease, or neutral effect on
the current value of said environment.

This would appear to presuppose that the entity can effectively determine
what has value in his universe, and furthermore accurately measure the given
effects of an isolated fluctuation; but there is no such presupposition,
because it is expected that the estimation of the value of a given
implemented action may not be correct, especially by an immature entity.
However, as with all SSC efforts, this "estimate" will eventually be
effective beyond random expectation, and will consistently improve with
experience (through the discovery of Inherent Environmental Order and laws,
assuming said environment contains such IEO)

2. The default method of resection of polarized reactionary order.
When a problem portion of a current cycle event matches a know historical
problem, the successful reaction on record, if any, is simply repeated in
the current cycle. The rub comes when the current flux doesn't match any
know cluster of sensor particles (historical flux), in such a case the SSC
will access the most similar (default minimums are observed) historical flux
and retrieve the attached former successful, if any, reactionary order
(solution/acquisition plan).

This newly created reactionary order (shaping action) is obviously not going
to be precisely suited for the new current and unequal (still unknown) flux.
I have discovered that one may resect the old reactionary order according to
the incongruent particles found in the initial simile compare between the
problem/opportunity portion of the event record and the new current unknown
fluctuation; i.e., the new incongruent particles simply replace all the
respective old incongruent particles that occur within the definition of the
adopted historical (old) reactionary order. This default resection and
implementation of the reactionary order will achieve effectivity in the
target universe beyond that of such order resected in a random fashion, or
simply not resected.

3. The specific 3 dimensions of self expansion by a SSC. In particular, the
explosion type of Random Perspective Expansion. (RPX)
