Adobe Systems licensed software

Adobe Systems

The CMU Computer Store has an Adobe Open Options Contractual Agreement under which departments can obtain licenses, media, and maintenance for Adobe products. The program is for departments, colleges, and research groups. Maintenance provides a cost-effective way to budget for and obtain future upgrades. Check the CMU Computer Store web pages for available Adobe products.

Departments that are using copies of FrameMaker obtained under the old University agreement have the right to use version 6 in perpetuity on University owned computers. Note: FrameMaker is now licensed in the same manner as other Adobe products.

See the CMU software licenses pages for information about individuals' usage of copies of FrameMaker obtained under the old University agreement.
