iPass Service Alert: Certificate Expiry Issues at 180 Iter-Touch Hotel Sites

SCS Computing Facilities has received the following service alert from iPass:

Inter-Touch Hotel Sites are experiencing certificate issues affecting iPass roaming access on the Inter-Touch network impacting a portion of their hotspot footprint. Users may experience a login failure and possibly see an incorrect username/password message on both Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks operated by Inter-Touch. To improve user experience, those hotspot locations have been omitted from the iPass listings temporarily. 180 hotels in 23 countries are affected with most commonly these SSID's: InterTouch, inter-touch, Hyatt, Conf@Hyatt, DOCOMOinterTouch. ETA for a fix at all locations is November 2013 per Inter-Touch.

iPass will continue to work towards bringing this network to our customers.

Thank you for your attention,
