Commodity and Research (Abilene/I2/Internet2) internet connectivity.
CMU's Internet Peer, Three Rivers Optical Exchange (PSC) will perform necessary mergency network router maintenance on our external Internet links. hrough the course of this maintenance, ALL services which depend upon external Internet connectivity (as well as connections and access to off-campus sites and services) will experience interruptions.
hese services include:
- Commodity Internet
- Email (Email is held and then delivered once maintenance is complete.)
- Internet connectivity
- Research connectivity
This outage will NOT affect any Carnegie Mellon services that are accessed from on-campus networks and dial-up services will NOT be affected.
