DAY: Saturday

DATE: 05/21/05

TIME: 5:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m.

Network Engineering is performing a hardware upgrade of the primary campus Internet border router during this scheduled outage. Services that depend on external Internet connectivity (as well as connections and access to off-campus sites and services) will experience interruptions.

Affected services include:

  • Commodity Internet
  • Email (Email is held and then delivered once maintenance is complete.)
  • Internet connectivity
  • IP Extension service (VPN)
  • Research connectivity
  • Wired connectivity
  • Wireless connectivity

The commodity Internet outage will be limited due to redundant paths.

Internet2 will be unavailable during the entire maintenance window.

Please direct any questions regarding departmental services that may or may not be located in Cyert A100 to your departmental computing administrators.
