The images in this projects were captured using a Nikon CoolPix 7600 Digital Camera as shown in the pictures below. The animated gif files were created using ImageMagick.

The first challenge I encountered in this project was the difficulty of controlling the zoom of this camera. I first tried moving the camera away from my subject and then zooming accordingly. But for this camera, the zoom depends on how long you press the "W&T" buttons showing in the picture above. It was very hard to precisely get to the very states I just wanted. I overcame this problem by zooming first and then adjusting the distance from the subject.
Aligning the subject was also difficult. To solve this, I bound some rubber bands on the camera so that I can see how much I had to adjust to align the subjects (the bus in Sequence#1 and the square entrance in Sequence#2) in the right place. Although there were still some slight perspective changes, the general results were very nice.
This sequence of images was taken in the ETC game lounge.

This sequence of images was also taken in the ETC game lounge. Moving subject was harder than adjusting the camera distance. Also, since my subject was not square, the perspective changes in this sequence were more obvious comparing to Sequence#2.

I took the following two pictures at 5th floor GHC. The picture on the left was taken with maximum zoom and the picture on the right was taken with minmum zoom respectively. My subject was the table. I measured the width of it as well as the distances from the table to my camera. And here's my result.
Width of the table: 305cm
Distance from the camera to the table with maximum zoom: 971cm
Distance from the camera to the table with minimum zoom: 296cm
Therefore, with the maximum zoom, FOV = 2*arctan(305/(2*971)) = 17.85 degree
With the minmum zoom, FOV = 2*arctan(305/(2*296))=54.52 degree
