Project 0: The Vertigo Shot
For this project, I used a Nikon D40 6.1MP digital SLR camera.
The biggest difficulty I encountered during the project was keeping the
subject a constant size, in spite of the fact that I used a tripod. To
overcome this, I used the frames in the viewfinder of the camera as a
reference and tried to keep the subjects the same size relative to the
frames. Unfortunately, there was still a considerable amount of
variation in terms of both size and position.

Image 1: The Pumpkin
For this sequence of images, I used a Nikon AF-S DX
Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED lens. I put a pumpkin on a table near
the front of my apartment. I decided to shoot here first just as a trial
before going out and taking photos, but this ended up being one of the
better shoots, so I decided to keep it.
Image 2: The Hallway
For this sequence of images, I used a Nikon AF-S DX
Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED lens. I decided to visit the second
floor of Baker Hall and take photos of the large window in the direction
of Hunt Library. These were more interesting than the pumpkin photo
shoot because my subject was so much further away, so I had to use a
stronger zoom lens and move back in larger increments.
