My implementation proceeds in the following three steps:

To make the algorithm work for large-sacel image, the algorithm searches in a multi-scale manner. Basically, we first search in a coarse scale and then we search in finer scale.

In the experiment, I found the performance of the algorithm would be affected by the black band on the sides of images. In order to make the algorithm more robust to this problem, I manually cropped the black band before running the algorithm.
