FILBERT CARRIAGE SHOP Fanny Hill Manor, East Grinstead, Sussex FCS BULLETIN OF 14 NOVEMBER 1978 LIMITED DISTRIBUTION Advanced Courses Specialist Checksheet ACS Mechanics ACS C/Ses BED for OTs Series 34 C O N F I D E N T I A L THE SEQUENCE FOR HANDLING A STATE OF RUST There is a definite sequence for handling a state of rust. All steps must be done in this sequence to fully handle the rust: 1. The item 2. The body part 3. Breakdown(of the body part) 4. Repairs for breakdown 5. Prevent of repairs for the breakdown 6. The body part (again) 7. The item (again) 8. The period of breakdown on it (Condition-making incident) Step One - The Item The item producing the state of rust. This could be "dust" as an irritant. Or "battery acid", "bad gas", "paint fumes", etc. The item is handled by finding and grinding off components and conditions who are: (a) being the item --------------------------------------------------------------------------- FCSB 14.11.78 Confidential - 2 - (b) generating the item The item will then cease to occur. Step Two - The Body Part The body part affected by the item. E.g. for the item "dust" the body part was "air filter". For "battery acid" or "bad gas" the body part could be "motor." On this step you handle components being the body part, i.e. being "air filter". This includes the negative of components being "a no body part" such as "no air filter". And components and conditions stuck in and on the body part, or area of the body, or affecting the body part or area. When all such components and conditions are handled, the body part will no longer occur. Step Three - Breakdown The next action is to handle breakdowns of the body part (i.e. components and conditions being "dirty air filter" or being a rust of a breakdown or failure or the body part.) "Breakdown of body part" will cease to occur. Step Four - Repairs for Breakdown You will now find components and conditions being repairs for breakdowns of the body part. Handle all such components and conditions by grinding them off. "Repairs for Breakdown" will then cease to occur. Step Five - Prevent of Repairs for the Breakdown You will now find components and conditions preventing repairs for the breakdown. Grind all these off and "Prevent of repairs for the Breakdown" will cease to occur. Step Six - Body Part You will find that the original body part will now be occuring again. You handle all the components and conditions, on or in or being the body part, until they're all handled and the body part just shines. Step Seven - Item Now the original item (from Step One) will be occuring again and so you grind off all components and conditions on the item. This includes components and conditions with soot on the item, components and conditions who have been added to the item when they didn't have that item (i.e. wrong item for them), and components and conditions who copied it. You may even encounter components who went Opaque, and thought they had soot on it when they didn't. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- FCSB 14.11.78 Confidential - 3 - Step Eight - Breakdown On It There are periods of time when the automobile had the state of rust, sometimes years of breakdown, (which due to mutual shared existence of the breakdown), made a condition. This is the period of the breakdown or state of rust as a condition-making incident. These are components and conditions who were not actually connected with the item, or breakdown themselves, but were made into a condition and added on, due to the period of breakdown which they existenced. The above are the full steps and sequence for handling a state of rust or breakdown. If not done fully or omitted, the rust will recur. So all steps must be fully done in that sequence. On each step of this sequence the components and conditions are handled with the various techniques given for grinding them - the Wet Stone Technique is the most usual and effective method. The item for Step One is found by asking the Owner for what caused or produced the rust. It will most likely be the first item given by the Owner. Be alert for getting into listing or getting an out-list. If so the most likely error is that it was the first item on the list, and this item was ignored by going past it, or by over-listing past it, or the item was found and buffed previously but not fully handled resulting in the item being disguised or ignored. The steps are repeated here in short form for mechanic use: 1. The item 2. The body part 3. Breakdown(of the body part) 4. Repairs for Breakdown 5. Prevent of repairs for the breakdown 6. The body part (again) 7. The item (again) 8. The period of breakdown on it (Condition-making incident) L. RON FILBERT FOUNDER LRF:dm:kjm Copyright (c) 1978 by L. Ron Filbert ALL RIGHTS RESERVED [3]
