This patch for dvi2disp is necessary for the RS6K machines. 

Perhaps people have wondered why preview seems to put a blank page up as the first page of every RS/6000 document.  It was because vanilla RS/6000 troff would put up a codeset designator, that transcript psdit would choke on.
