The Andrew Consortium is happy to announce a binary release of the latest 
version of the Andrew User Interface System (AUIS 6.3.1).


Encouraged by the large number of requests for binary distributions, we are 
now making this latest release available in binary "package" distributions 
for these five different formats: \



\bold{	wp} - for those wanting a basic word-processor

	\bold{doc} - documentation only

	\bold{src} - for Source Code developers

	\bold{mail} - for users wanting the MIME-compatible messages interface

	\bold{full} - all of the above plus other goodies


 and for these five system types: \



	RS/6000   \


	Sun 4C Sparcstation    \


	HP 720    \


	DEC Pmax

	Linux


You can obtain these packages via anonymous ftp from ftp.andrew.cmu.edu 
(Internet: 128.2.232.154) in pub/AUIS/bin-dist.  The README file in that 
directory provides information on the directory contents and how to 
proceed. \



The Consortium will also send out your binary package on tape for a nominal
