Opportunities in Signal Processing DownUnder Date: 7 Mar 1995 02:25:48 GMT Organization: SPRC Speech Research Lab QUEENSLAND UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY SIGNAL PROCESSING RESEARCH CENTRE POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH POSITIONS The Signal Processing Research Centre is seeking postdoctoral fellows with experience and interests in - Signal Theory and Applications including time-frequency signal analysis, non-linear and non-Gaussian Signal Analysis, non-linear system identification,signal detection and parameter estimation in HF Radar, high order spectral analysis, and biomedical signal processing (Professor B Boashash and Dr A Zoubir). Speech processing and applications including speech enhancement, deverberation, speaker identification, speech recording authentication, high quality audio coding and very low bita rate speed coding (Dr S Sridharan, Dr M Deriche and Prof M Moody). Image Processing and Computer Vision including Object Recognition, Image modelling, video data compression, scale space image analysis part segmentgation, and robotics. (Dr N Harle, Dr V Chandran, Dr W Boles). QUT Postdoctoral Fellowships are avialable to candidates with less than five years full-time professional experience since being awarded their PhD. The duration of the fellowship is between nine months and two years. SALARY: $37 345 to $40 087 pa depending on qualifications and experience.
