This associate staff position in the Information Technology Group will involve: 1. Modification, enhancement, and application of existing computer-based simulations. 2. Knowledge-based and advanced reasoning software system development and prototyping. 3. Development of Distributed Interactive Simulation applications. 4. Documentation and presentation of work to sponsor and peer reviews. 5. Assistance in administration of UNIX workstation network. Qualified candidates should have: BS/MS in Computer Science or related field with strong academic record. Experience in LISP, other knowledge-based programming environments, and C/C++ programming. Proven interest in expert systems or artificial intelligence software system development. Desirable qualifications would include: Experience with X-Windows, network programming and GUI development.
