Write-up

Aim:
Create planar 3-D scene from a single photograph.
(Based on paper entitled "Tour into the Picture" by Horry et al.)

Process of completion:
- Read in one 2-D photograph that is captured in one-point perspective
- Choose the upper left and lower right corners of the back wall
- Choose the vanishing point and press enter once you are satisfied with your selection
- Extract the five polygons - back, right, left walls, ceiling and floor
- Warp each polygon into a rectangle of the proper size
- Compute 3-D coordinates of each vertex of each plane
- Map textures of the three walls, ceiling and floor onto the 3-D model
- Zoom in, zoom out, move the camera to obtain various viewpoints
