I compiled the DOS version of this program using DJGPP v2beta4. Meanwhile
DJGPP has come out of beta and the "full" version 2 is free for download;

                                 GETTING DJGPP
                                       
   The primary distribution site for djgpp is SimTel, which is a large
   collection of software for various systems. The primary FTP site is
   Coast to Coast's SimTel archive, ftp.coast.net in the
   SimTel/vendors/djgpp directory. There are many other SimTel mirrors,
   so try to find one close to you. Here is a list of additional SimTel

   You can also get a stripped-down and more-ready-to-go version called
   EZ-GCC through the EZ-GCC info page or via ftp to riceng.rice.edu
   (user ezgcc, pw ezgcc). Get (and READ !!!) the EZ-GCC.TXT first!
   
   If you don't have FTP access, you can purchase djgpp from the Free
   Software Foundation. I think they provide both floppies and CD-ROM,
