<h2>Daily Activities:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Armor inspection will be held 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. starting Monday, August 16
through Friday, August 19. Inspections will be held 10 a.m. - noon on
Saturday, August 20. Inspections will stop 1/2 hour before each battle and
resume 1/2 hour after Marshal's Court, time permitting. See Combat Rules
for details.</li>

<li>Archery inspection will occur from 9 a.m.=D15 p.m. throughout the war.</li>

<li>Archery novelty tourneys will occur at 11:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.
Saturday August 13 - Tuesday August 16, and at 12:00 noon & 3:00 p.m.
Thursday August 18 - Saturday August 20. No Novelty Tourneys are scheduled
for Wednesday August 17 due to the Archery Champions Tourney.</li>

<li>Childrens activities will be held starting Saturday, August 13 through
Friday, August 19 from 10 a.m. - noon and 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the
Childrens Tent next to the playground. A schedule of activities will be
posted there. Parents of children under age 6 are encouraged to join in.</li>

<li>Heraldic cries of the camp will occur at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 3:00
p.m. at areas designated on the site map starting Monday, August 15. See
message boards at other times.</li>

<li>Heraldic consultation for name and device submissions is available Monday,
August 15 through Friday August 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
and Saturday August 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.</li>

<h2>EVENT ANNOUNCEMENTS</h2>

The Masked Ball will be Friday night starting at 9:30 p.m.  The theme for
this year is "Famous Royalty of Myth and History."  Come as your favorite
historical personage who sat a throne.  Please be courteous in your
portrayals and keep them in good taste (and within the SCA period of
recreation, of course).

<p>Fool's Parade:  All fools, jesters, jugglers, acrobats, hobgoblins and things that go bump in the night! are invited to participate in the Fool's Parade on Wednesday.  Gather at the southeast corner of the battlefield (the edge nearest the Troll Booth) at 4:00 p.m.  For further information or to help with the planning, contact Lord Midair MacCormac at the Cinnabar encampment.</p>

<p>There are three Chirurgeon fundraising events: a tourney on Sunday, Aug. 14, the drag race (men in women's clothing) on Wednesday, Aug. 17, and the annual auction on Thursday, Aug. 18.  Donations of goods for the auction may be left at Chirurgeon's Point before Thursday.</p>

<p>The Principality of AEthelmearc is sponsoring an Arts Exhibit on Friday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.  All are invited to stop by and see the artistic achievements of the citizens of AEthelmearc.  AEthelmearc citizens wishing to participate may bring submissions to AEthelmearc Royal encampment between 10-11 a.m.  The exhibit will be run like a Laurel's Prize tourney - all are welcome to bring tokens to express their appreciation of the fine arts to be seen.</p>

<p>The commemorative slate dedicated to the spirit of Pennsic will be on display during War week.  All are welcome to view this treasure of Pennsic.  The work was commissioned by TRM Ruslan and Margaret of the East from artisan Tigwar of Owl's Rest during the Great Conflict of Pennsic XXI.
