I pointed this out to Mr. Davies by e-mail, as well as the fact that 
telling people to learn English *in* English is rather pointless--I 
suggested he try "Lernu la anglan".  I also pointed out that if there are 
only two Volap:uk speakers left, one say "Neither of them", not "Hardly 
any", speaks Esperanto.  I also expressed my guess that more than half of 
all living Volap:ukans *do* actually speak Esperanto...

And he wrote back and called me an "Esperanto weenie".

He reminds me of Eric Blair, only less articulate.
