You deleted my reference to UNESCO, an organization decidedly broader
than Europe. I can refer also to the Baha'i faith, the Oomoto branch of
Shintoism, etc. Although many international organizations are rooted in
Europe, many are not. And more importantly, the general sentiment of 
internationalism is certainly bigger than "intra-Europeanism".

If your only tool is a hammer, many objects look like nails.
