I disagree. Some languages are designed to be easily learned. Bahasa
Indonesian is among the languages so planned, but not the others on
your list.
I would be interested in a controlled experiment to see how much of
various languages normal students can learn in a given time....

If the world's educators were to take on the task of teaching all
students an agreed-upon second language, so that all persons could
talk to one another without interpreters, what would be a sensible
language to use to that end?
