This certainly applies to the Esperanto newsgroups as well as most English
newsgroups. 
Even many articles which are worthy, witty and wise do not reach my 
screen, because not all subjects interest me. I suspect this is universal.
Who reads *every* post of *any* newsgroup?
Even this lofty forum generates discussions which I ignore....
