Which word do you use in your country to define the word 'pilot' (meaning:
somebody who helps bringing in a ship safely into a harbour) ?

I'm looking for this word in a different language than english, french
(pilote), german (Lotse) or dutch (loods).

I'd like to hear all possible definitions and pronounciations, wherever you
come from. Please e-mail your translations to: ek@knoware.nl

Thank you !
Erik.
