Young talents

Our Foundation invites every year a number of young and talented people to attend the symposium. This is to bring together the young and promising talents with the accomplished and to give both the pleasure of getting to know each other and to learn from each other in a relaxed and stimulating setting.

Conditions for participation:

The young person should have specific talent in a particular domain - music, literature, science, arts or other areas.

These young people are invited to participate - they will not have to make a speech or other performance, but are kindly invited to take part in the discussions taking place after each lecture between speaker, chairman and the audience. Besides there are many occasions to meet and initiate contacts with the speakers and the other participants.

What is offered by the sponsor?

Participation fee (Sfr. 2'780.--).

Traveling and accommodation costs are in charge of the young talent.

Schedule

To each speaker half a day is dedicated (including presentation of the speaker by Dr. Guntern, discussions and coffee-break).

A special feature of the International Zermatt Symposium is that in principle all speakers are present during the whole symposium. This allows for a lively exchange of information between the speakers and between the speakers and the participants. It also contributes to creating a most stimulating atmosphere.

This special formula has proven to be greatly appreciated by all concerned, leading to unusual and fascinating contacts, ideas and projects.

Languages

Simultaneous translation into English - French - German - and any other language which is required.
