Mike,

Although I don't have info on miniboards in the UK, I have just finished
laying out a 4x3 inch board based on the Philips 80C592 processor. A
prototype is being made up by a PCB manufacturer. This has an L293D twin
full-H circuit on board for controlling two motors; serial UART at CMOS
level; CAN network physical layer transceiver (80C250); 8-channel 10-bit
analogue inputs; the 2-channel pulse-width modulation output of the 592 is
used for speed control of the motors; and there are uncommitted holes on
the board for pins for wiring up the digital I/O ports. There is no
provision for memory expansion. Let me know if this of any interest to
you, as I am planning to get a small batch of these run off in the near
future.
